Last night when I came up to bed, the yellow alien was in the box with the puppies and the short purple one was still on the rug in front of the pen. This morning, the furry ring, the yellow alien, and the short purple one were all in bed with me. The pointy head purple one was under the bed, but Fric had moved it closer to Watson’s bed. When we went out first thing, Fric took the yellow alien with her and dropped it on the walk again. I brought it in and later she brought it back upstairs. What I don’t know is what she did with it. It’s not with the pups and I can’t find it anywhere in the office or my bedroom. I’d hoped to find it so I could use it as a marker in the puppy pictures so people could see how much they’ve grown in a week. Oh, well.
This morning for some incomprehensible reason, Watson decided to go behind the fake ficus whose basket base I use as a dog toy box, primarily because the dogs seem to enjoy pulling toys out of there. Anyhow, when he wedged his large body into this small space, the tree fell over, spilling all the toys on the floor. There amid the pile was another short purple alien. I must have bought it somewhere along the line, but if I did, I can’t remember when or for whom. I left it on the floor to see what, if anything, any of the dogs would do with it. The answer so far is a big fat Nothing. So as of right now, the pointy headed alien is under my bed and a short purple one and the furry are on the rug in my bedroom, the yellow one is MIA, and the second short purple one is downstairs.
Meanwhile, the puppies continue to grow and do well although they can be a noisy little bunch, especially the female and the chocolate male. They were the smaller of the four so it’s possible that they’re the ones always getting walked over and shoved about at meal times. But they’re all pretty good at making their needs known and for sure none of them have any lung problems!
