I recorded this the day after Whit died, but chose not to post it for several weeks and even considered not publishing it at all. And yet the events were so Whit, it seemed to me that they comprised a final tribute to yet another amazing animal.

I should have known he was gone when you said he wasn’t eating. Like i said, i’m just catching up. I’m so sad to hear this but understand it’s life and only you have those memories that will remain with you. I hope another cat might find you if that’s what you want. It was also interesting to hear the other events that happened after he left you. jdk
