This podcast tells the story of two plants, a fern (Figure 1) currently residing in my bedroom where it takes up a disproportionate amount of space as it sits on a wicker pedestal barely up to the job, and a holiday cactus that isn’t really a cactus (Figure 2). But it also tells the story of an eclectic collection (Figure 3) that was elevated to sacred status during this magical holiday season.
