We all periodically use our animals to insulate us from life’s harsher realities. And ideally we provide this same service for them. But sometimes we get so caught up in our personal dramas that the mutually rewarding bilateral bond that insulated both of us gives way to a unilateral one that’s all about us.
When this occurs, quality bilateral human-animal communication gets buried. Just like my phone line. Then what?
Somewhere in the mass of insulating foam to the left in this picture lies my crushed phone line. Although traumatic for me, did I really need to drag the dogs and cat into it?
